I
have completed several new paintings: "Odd" (animal
portraits), "Sahara" (abstract), and "Mean"
(abstract). They will be appearing on the Paintings page
over the next several days.

have just received my promotional cards. They contain
examples of both my paintings and glassworks. These
will be made available at all of my exhibitions and special

Site Launch

My brand new web site, NicoleAlexisMones.com
is going to go "live" sometime this month, and
I'm very excited. This has been in the works since
February and nearly all the bugs are worked out (go, Ian,
go!). Should any of you discover any kinks or errors,
or have any suggestions, please let me know. The site
also exists online under the alternate domain AbstractArtRichmond.com.

Promotional
Cards

I
am also having promotional cards created to supplement the
site. These are for handing out (or mailing out) to
people at exhibits, for potential exhibitors, and for any
buyers or decorators out there who need to know my art exists.
I'm getting enough printed that friends and family are more
than welcome to have one (or a small stack) if they like.

I'm working on combining glass and canvas in collage pieces
to add depth, texture and intricate color patterns.
Bigger
Kiln?
2011.03.27.
I am presently researching kiln options for a fusing larger
glass pieces, or firing more smaller pieces at a time.
I have found a promising option from a surprising source
and hope to make a happy announcement before Spring is over.

Over, Marco

I am beginning my next animal portrait. This one's
of the puggle. I have yet to break it to Marco that
he's going to have to share the limelight.
